What is the goal of Caliper’s Research Partnership Program?
Our program seeks to connect current graduate students and professors with researchers at Caliper to partner together on new, innovative research projects. Through this program, Caliper will work with students and academics to utilize Caliper assessments and developmental products in studies for dissertation research, publications, and/or conference presentations. We believe that integrating more organizational assessments and applied research tools perspectives into academic research will benefit the I/O community and help bridge the scientist-practitioner gap.
How it works:
If you are a student or professor interested in partnering with Caliper on a research project, please complete the form to the right to get started. We will work with you to set your study participants up to take the Caliper Profile (a proprietary personality and abstract reasoning assessment widely used by hundreds of companies around the world), and share data with you. In addition, we offer our research partners a free Caliper Certification session, which will make you an expert in using and understanding the assessment in your current research and in your future career.
While the details of each partnership will be discussed on a case by case basis, below are several options for collaboration opportunities:
- Administering Caliper assessments as part of the data collection process in original research studies
- Using the Caliper Profile in graduate classes to provide students with developmental feedback
- Using data from Caliper’s existing database in new research studies
Please note that the Caliper Profile is available in 26 languages, making it a great option for international researchers or those studying personality across cultures.
