In his current role as Content Specialist/Writer, Michael Pollack creates, writes, edits, and updates content for internal and external purposes.
He continues to formulate an FAQ website, with chat forums and instant-messaging capability, in a cloud-based customer support platform. He also ghost-blogs and edits articles for Caliper’s website, as well as performs a host of technical writing to create documentation for the company’s Client Portal.
In 2016, he finished collaboration with Dr. Jennie Hollmann on a White Paper concerning the multi-generational workforce as well as several case studies on Caliper’s effectiveness in various business fields.
Prior to joining Caliper, Michael served as an editor at a weekly newspaper, The Westfield Leader, in Union County, NJ. During his five years as a full-time staffer, he was responsible for managing a contingent of writers, arranging and conducting interviews, laying out pages, and covering various beats. He also got to co-host a music festival on local-access television, moderate an Election Forum, interview state and national politicians, and report on pressing news.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Gettysburg College, where he took part in the international co-ed service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega and earned acceptance into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. He also volunteers his time at Community Access Unlimited in Elizabeth, NJ, where he tutors a developmentally disabled adult in reading and basic skills.
