Caliper Appoints New President and New Chief Operating Officer
August 18, 2014 — Caliper, a global talent management consulting firm based in Princeton, NJ, announced this week that Senior Vice President of Client Services, Mark Greenberg has been promoted to President. Also, the Senior Vice President of Caliper International, Greg Sidler, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Both of these appointments are based on Caliper’s plans for strategic growth in the near future.
In addition to his duties as company president, Mr. Greenberg will oversee the Sales and Client Services functions, and Mr. Sidler will oversee operations and corporate development while continuing as managing director of Caliper International.
“I’m proud that Caliper has developed two people with all the qualities required to be top leaders of a great company,” says Caliper’s Founder and CEO, Herb Greenberg, Ph.D. who founded the talent management consulting firm in 1961.
Mark Greenberg has been with Caliper since 1993, filling a variety of roles for the organization, including corporate trainer and SVP of Client Services. In 2007, he took a hiatus to obtain teaching certificates in Social Studies, Business, and Elementary Education.
“I’m passionate about education,” says Greenberg. “Educating our team and our customers about all the things we can accomplish together is a key element of Caliper’s strategy for the future.”
Mr. Sidler is also a long-serving Caliper veteran, having joined the organization in 1990 and, in recent years, overseeing development of the company’s international business. Previously, he achieved success in growing Caliper’s U.S. business as a business unit leader.
